Brand Buzz

The “Brand Buzz” event, organized as an HRD initiative, successfully promoted teamwork and rapid thinking among members. In this interactive activity, teams were challenged to guess various brands based solely on emojis. The format not only tested the participants’ brand recognition skills but also encouraged collaboration and quick decision-making under pressure. The event was well-received, as it strengthened bonds between members and provided a platform for creative problem-solving in a fun and engaging environment.

VAULTS

(Valuable and Ultimate Learning Training Sessions)

An event organized by the HRD team was designed to equip directors with essential skills in event planning, covering key areas such as budgeting, logistics, and execution to ensure successful outcomes. Over two sessions, participants were also made aware of how Rotaract fosters both personal and professional growth, highlighting the many opportunities available within the organization. The event aimed to strengthen the Board of Directors’ unity by encouraging personal connections, ultimately enhancing their ability to work together as a cohesive and effective team.

Digification

The event aimed to enhance participants’ proficiency with Canva, improve non-verbal communication, challenge creative problem-solving under pressure, and build confidence in using digital tools. The event began with a warm welcome, followed by the formation of four teams, each selecting a captain. The main challenge was to create two identical JPEG designs based on the World Cup 2024 theme using Canva, but without any verbal communication—teams relied solely on Canva’s chat feature. Despite the time constraints and communication barriers, teams demonstrated creativity and precision.

Bhartiya Khel Mahotsav

The event aimed to revive the joy of traditional Indian sports like Kabaddi and Kho Kho, allowing participants to relive childhood memories while enhancing their reflexes, strategic thinking, and teamwork. Teams competed in Kabaddi, focusing on tagging and defending, followed by a fast-paced Kho Kho round. The event emphasized fair play, respect, and a friendly yet competitive atmosphere, successfully bringing the excitement of these traditional games back into participants’ lives.

Strike Master

The event aimed to unite members for fun and relaxation while promoting teamwork, strategy, and precision in a competitive yet friendly environment. Participants played multiple carrom matches, focusing on improving hand-eye coordination, patience, and focus through carefully planned moves. The event featured several rounds where teams competed, with the final match being the highlight. A derivative game called “Money Money” added to the enjoyment. The event successfully encouraged healthy competition and skill development, culminating in a fun and engaging experience for all participants.

Clever Clash

The “Clever Clash” event, organized by the professional development team, aimed to challenge participants’ memory, observation skills, focus, and teamwork through a series of engaging tasks. Divided into teams, participants recreated diagrams from memory, recalled the order of objects, and identified ingredients in a drink mixture. Each round tested their ability to follow instructions under pressure, work collaboratively, and stay attentive.

Ek Surili Khoj

The “Ek Surili Khoj” event aimed to challenge club members’ song knowledge with a twist to push their limits, enhance teamwork, and strengthen bonds. Participants were divided into two teams and competed in three rounds: guessing singers from song clips, singing songs by specific artists, and identifying songs related to given objects. The event tested rapid thinking, strategy, and adaptability in a fun and high-pressure environment.

King’s Gambit

The “King’s Gambit” event celebrated International Chess Day by showcasing the strategic depth of chess while enhancing communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. Participants, divided into two teams, played chess using unique power chits for special moves. Captains guided their teams from a distance, strategizing and explaining moves. One team emerged victorious by capturing more pieces from the opposing team.

Snatch It

The “Snatch It” event recreated the excitement of a childhood game, fostering fun and camaraderie among participants. The game involved two teams competing to grab a handkerchief from the center of the field and return to their side without being tagged. Teams were tasked with coordinating their efforts and making quick decisions. The event highlighted teamwork and strategic thinking, with one team eventually securing victory through superior coordination and agility. Participants enjoyed reliving the joy of traditional games, making the event a nostalgic and interactive experience.

Rotaract Reflection

The “Rotaract Reflection” monthly bulletin aimed to encourage members to reflect on their first 25 days in the Rotaract movement. It provided a platform for sharing personal experiences, early interactions, and growth, capturing emotions and challenges faced. The bulletin highlighted reflections on skills acquired, fostering a sense of community and openness. Members submitted entries via a Google Form, with 28 contributions reviewed and compiled into a comprehensive document. The final bulletin was circulated to members, showcasing their stories and activities.

Fiery Balls

The “Fiery Balls” event aimed to offer club members a fun break from their busy schedules, focusing on relaxation, physical fitness, and teamwork. Participants engaged in three rounds: one-touch passing, avoiding adjacent passes, and a dynamic center challenge. The event encouraged precise coordination, creative problem-solving, and team-building and ended with a feedback session and expressions of gratitude.

Craft Fiesta

Craft Fiesta aimed to engage students in waste management by making reducing, reusing, and recycling fun and relatable. The event provided hands-on experience with practical waste practices, encouraging creative upcycling of everyday items. It also inspired students to participate in local clean-ups and recycling efforts. Held at Holy Star English High School, the session included informative presentations and interactive activities, such as making photo frames from waste materials.

Promo Power

Promo Power aimed to introduce participants to affiliate marketing through hands-on branding tasks. The event focused on teaching creativity and time management by having teams create logos, taglines, and ads for their brands. Team 1, with a spa service, won for their effective advertisement, while Team 2 excelled in their jingle. Participants enjoyed a practical learning experience and shared their feedback at the end.

Tale Spin

Tale Spin aimed to boost participants’ quick thinking and problem-solving under pressure through storytelling challenges. The event involved finding specific words amidst distractions, crafting stories within designated genres, and performing those stories in new genres. It encouraged creativity, teamwork, and adaptability, culminating in a memorable and engaging experience for all.

Lights of Guidance

The “Lights of Guidance” community service event aimed to educate underprivileged students about cutting-edge technologies such as AI, blockchain, and machine learning. The initiative sought to keep students informed about technological advancements, inspire career interests, and provide tailored academic guidance. The event featured an engaging presentation, interactive career counseling, and a fun game to reinforce learning.

Seva Mahotsav

Seva Mahotsav aimed to enhance community well-being through a week-long series of diverse service activities from July 1st to July 6th. The Rotaract Club of Bombay Mid-Town engaged in various projects, including blood donation camps, meal distributions, environmental clean-ups, and educational workshops. The initiative addressed multiple needs, from health and hygiene to environmental and social support, fostering a spirit of collaboration and service while making a tangible impact across different community segments.

World Population Day

On World Population Day, an impactful event was organized both in India and outside India, reaching over 4,000 people with essential knowledge of population control and sexual health. The event featured educational sessions on safe sex, family planning, and teenage sexual health, aiming to empower individuals across generations. Additionally, 75 medical kits were donated to support community healthcare. The initiative successfully promoted informed decision-making, striving to leave a lasting positive impact on participants and their communities.
